Happy Easter!

I picked Todd up at the San Francisco airport on Easter morning and we made the drive north to Napa, heading over the Bay Bridge and checking out Alcatraz with a clear view to the Golden Gate.

It was Todd’s first time to Napa, which was exciting for me because it was about as glorious a Spring day as one could ask for in California. I was happy we could oblige him. We checked in to our hotel and caught up on emails until it was time to meet Jill Matthiasson over at the winery. We took a walk through the vineyards and the barrel room before following her back home for dinner. Steve was grilling in the yard and the setting couldn’t have been more picturesque. Todd kept saying: “This feels straight out of central casting; it’s like a movie set.”

This afternoon, Todd, Steve, Jill and I will be af Folklore in Napa to present the Sweet Wermut collaboration to our first audience of cocktail lovers. Tuesday we’ll head back to San Francisco and then Los Angeles at the end of the week. We’re very much looking forward to talking technical with you all very soon!
