Introducing Leopold Bros Vinegar

After resurrecting the Three Chamber Still to create a class of American heritage spirits not seen in nearly a century, the Leopold Bros have turned their attention to vinegar.

Not just any vinegar, mind you. Distilled vinegar. More specifically, Three Chamber-distilled!

Once again, Todd Leopold buried himself in historical texts to recreate a style of vinegar not tasted in America since the 19th century. In the 1800s, the use of the Three Chamber Still to create vinegar was so common that the IRS had a set of regulations regarding its usage!

Three Chamber Stills used for vinegar production at that time had a special water chamber attached that would immediately dilute the spirit to 20% by federal law. In fact, Heinz used a Three Chamber Still to create its vinegars up until Prohibition!

We have a LOT to tell you about moving forward. For now, mark down April 10th on your calendars. We’ll be releasing the first three vinegars at the distillery that day, along with a few other new releases!
